Dear Friends of GSJC,
After eight years of dedicated service to the Greater South Jersey Chorus, Assistant Director and Chamber Singers Conductor Art McKenzie has announced his retirement.
Art has been an important part of GSJC’s artistic growth and success, helping to shape Chamber Singers into the exceptional ensemble it is today while providing invaluable musical leadership, insight, and support to the full chorus. We are deeply grateful for his many contributions and wish him all the best in his well-earned retirement.
As we celebrate Art’s remarkable service, GSJC is beginning a search for an Associate Conductor to join our artistic leadership team for the 2026-2027 season. A position description is attached, and we would appreciate your sharing it with any conductors, music educators, church musicians, or choral leaders who may be interested.
